About

How It Started

I'm Mohammed Nawaf AlKhayat but most people call me MK, born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia around 2007 and currently in the last year of high school.

I first got interested in coding from playing video games with my friends, I saw how much fun it was to get together and play so I wondered if somehow I could make games too. A few excruciatingly long tutorials later I had my very own crappy unity game, after that I kept learning and making things that I was interested in and it just kept going from there.

Making Stuff

I've been programming and learning for about 4 years now, working on various different things from Game and Web Development to Python Apps and Arduino Projects. Some of my favorites include, a customized version of battleship running in the python terminal that me and friends would spend all class playing, a 2D platformer that one of my friends decided to speedrun, and a miniature Dance Dance Revolution Arduino controller that lets you use your fingers to dance to rhythm games.

Aside from personal projects I have done a lot of recognized work like, landing a paid freelance job making and maintaining a company website, completing courses and bootcamps from companies like Tuwaiq Academy and SDAIA, and ranking high in online game jams and placing 1st in the FTC JAM, the first game jam for high school students in Saudi Arabia.

The Next Step

I have many different ideas and projects on my mind for the future so I made this website entirely from scratch which I plan to keep it up to date with all the newest things I do.

If you have anything you'd like to share or you just want to talk please don't hesitate to get in contact.
- Sincerely, MK
